RADOS一文发表在SC’07，后来成为了存储系统Ceph的核心部分之一。
RADOS全称为Reliable, Autonomic Distributed Object Store。
在Ceph中，Object Storage Devices（OSDs）设备的状态有两个衡量维度：
1.当OSD在线可达时，处于up状态；否则，处于down。
2.从设备活性的角度看，当OSD存放了PG时，处于in；否则，处于out。
